A Bronx Web site is helping drivers apply for loans and get the car of their dreams.

Riverdale Chrysler owner Brian Dennis says he has teamed up with BronxCredit.com so when customers walk into his showroom, they are already pre-approved for a loan. Dennis says the Web site finds loans from real banks that offer competitive interest rates, some requiring no money down.

The Department of Consumer Affairs says before customers sign any loans, they should do their homework to make sure they are getting a fair deal.

?We strongly urge customers to get to a bank before the dealership,? Consumer Affairs representative Jonathan Mintz said. ?If the dealer can compete, fantastic.?

Consumer Affairs officials also recommend checking to make sure a business has a Consumer Affairs license. They also say customers should call 311 to make sure the business is in good standing.
