A boutique in Bed-Stuy is thriving to keep women fashionable, trendy and empowered.

Radical Women on Tompkins Avenue has just opened its doors with a variety of different designer items and services.

The business was opened by four women entrepreneurs, Ashaka, Djassi, Holly and Kim,  who say they decided to come together as one and build a space where ladies can feel safe and comfortable.

The owners drew inspiration from an exhibit featuring black women in the 1960s coming together as one to create and support one another.            

Each lady brings something unique and custom made for every women --from fashionable clothing pieces, leather bags, and accessories.
