A young Brooklyn DJ is taking steps in the fight against cancer with the release of his first album.

DJ Albert Green is only 16 years old, but he says he has been DJing for years. After several singles, Green dropped “F--- Cancer” at the start of the summer.

Green says he chose the title to help fight a disease that has hit close to home. 

Green says he lost his uncle and grandfather to cancer. He says his aunt is also in hospice at the moment.

"I hope with this album, we can help put an end to it, but it won't be easy," Green says. 

The album is available on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music and dozens of other platforms.

All of the proceeds will be going to cancer organizations.
