Bronx High School of Science wins trip to robotics championship
Hard work by the Bronx High School of Science robotics team finally paid off with a trip to the robotics championships.
Some students on the Sciborgs, the schools robotics team, say they have been waiting years for a trip to Georgia to compete in the championships. The team recently won the Engineering Inspiration Award for its volunteer hours in the community. The award turned out to be the ticket to the championships.
Though the team has 30 students, only a few will be headed to the competition. The students say they are looking forward to having fun and learning from other teams.
