Bronx baby's death ruled a homicide
A medical examiner has ruled the death of an 8-month-old boy in the Bronx a homicide.
The examiner made the decision Tuesday. Police say they found Ricky Rivera unconscious in his family's apartment at 707 E. 187th St. on May 17. The infant was rushed to a hospital, where he remained on life support until Tuesday.
Police have not made any arrests so far, and the Administration for Children's Services is investigating the case.
Neighbors say they don't know much about the family, which had recently moved into the building.
