Bridgeport police say they hope new surveillance video will help them recover at least one of the 11 dogs stolen from city residents over the past few weeks.
One of the dogs is a 2-year-old Yorkie named Daisy, who got out of her yard for a moment and wandered down Edna Avenue, where she was taken.
Video from June 7 shows a woman taking Daisy, stuffing her into a bag and leaving the scene in a navy sedan that's possibly a Toyota Camry.
Police say all of the missing dogs have been young females who were likely stolen to be bred for profit.
"You know who you are," owner Daniella Parreiras says of the dog snatcher. "Just bring Daisy back to us. I need my life back."
Parreiras is offering a cash reward for Daisy's return and has vowed not to press charges. Police say they won't arrest the woman who took Daisy if she returns the dog because she could offer clues to a much bigger investigation. They say 10 other pedigree dogs have also been reported stolen in Bridgeport over the past few weeks.
Giovanna Coelho says her two Yorkies, 5-year-old Bella and 7-year-old Milla, went missing on May 30. Like Parreiras, Coelho also made an appeal Wednesday for  mercy.
Anyone with information can call Parreiras at 203-360-5461 or Bridgeport police at 203-581-5100.
