Hair today, gone tomorrow.
The buzzing of clippers was hard to hear Saturday over the sound of the crowd at Momo's Too Sports Bar & Grill during its third annual St. Baldrick’s event.
Participants went bald to support children with cancer while raising money to help find a cure.
"A lot of people say there's bad in the world, there's good in the world too. There's some good people out there," says Rich Comunale, of Momo’s Too Sports Bar & Grill.
People pledged money to each person getting their hair buzzed and some businesses also came to raise donations.
"It's just hair. I did my eyebrows too for an extra 20 bucks," said Chris Baldy, of Holtsville.
The event surpassed its goal of raising $20,000.
