Patricia’s of Tremont in the Bronx has been serving up classic dishes for more than two decades.

Owners Giacamo and Gennaro describe their family-style restaurant as a place that offers affordable, traditional Italian cuisine.

“We don't wanna be the trendy place where you run through and you try to bring Manhattan to the Bronx,” Gennaro says. “No...we want to keep the Bronx to the Bronx.”

The two brothers say they moved with their parents to New York from Italy when they were teenagers. Their father was a chef.

They say they started out working in the kitchen and dining room after their family opened Patricia’s in 1991.

Some of their most popular dishes include lamb chops, skirt steaks and chicken parmigiana. The two also rave about their classic sauce, a recipe passed down from their father.

News 12 is told Patricia's now has locations in Brooklyn, Staten Island, New Jersey and on Long Island.
