No working smoke detectors in deadly Bridgeport house fire, officials say

A boat fire at the Anchorage Yacht Club Marina on East Shore Road left one person injured yesterday afternoon.

The blaze broke out around 4 p.m., sending smoke billowing into the air.

Suffolk County authorities responded, including police arson detectives, marine bureau officers, and first precinct officers.

One person was airlifted to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to recover.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
