Best of the Bronx: Liebman's Delicatessen
Liebman's Delicatessen is called the anchor of the neighborhood by its loyal customers in Riverdale.
They say it is one of the only traditional New York Jewish delis left in the city. All of the deli's food is kosher, which means the meat served there has been slaughtered according to Jewish dietary laws.
Some of the fan favorites at this 61-year-old shop are matzah ball soup, and pastrami and corned beef sandwiches. One customer that spoke with News 12 the Bronx said she drives all the way from Queens to get a taste of Liebman's menu.
Sandwiches cost around $12 and entrees range from $17-$18, but managers say it's all worth it.
