The Bronx is the only borough in the city to not have its own Marvel superhero, so one West Farms resident took it upon himself to be a hero in his neighborhood.
Ivan Ramos has always been a big Spider-Man fan.
"Around kindergarten, I actually got in trouble for trying to climb the walls in class," Ramos says.
Growing up in West Farms, Ramos turned to comics and video games to keep himself safe from what was going on outside his apartment building. And that's how Bronx Spidey was born.

"I wear the Miles Morales suit, which depicts a Puerto Rican and African-American boy from New York and that relates to me because I'm Puerto Rican," he says.
Ramos bought the suit back in November and since then, he has gained over 700 followers on Instagram. His brother takes the action shots.
"We actually go up to the roof and take pictures," Ramos says.
Now, Bronx Spidey spends a lot of his days being a superhero to kids across the city.
"Kids around the neighborhood saw me and wanted to take pictures with me, so I decided to go to hospitals and visit kids at hospitals and YMCAs, like the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club," says Ramos. "Their face just lights up and they forget they're sick."
With great power, comes great responsibility, and Ramos says he is up for the challenge.
"It's really good to represent the Bronx," says Ramos.
