A band of Bronx brothers is using its platform to spread light throughout the community and is reflecting on its music journey. 

Conversing with Oceans is an Indie-Rock band that has performed all over the Bronx. 

The band has had the opportunity to collaborate with musicians and producers, as well as getting a global distribution deal with Sony’s “The Orchard.” 

"To see other people play in the Bronx just made us want to be like a really good band and get a lot of people to come to our shows,"says guitarist Chris Ragone. 

The band also uses its platform to raise awareness throughout the community. Members say their general goal is to leave the world a little better than they found it. 

Conversing with Oceans told News 12 they are trying to encourage others to do the thing they’ve always wanted to do.
