Bay Shore man accused of ransacking at least 5 cars in the area

According to police, 37-year-old Henry Sanders broke into at least five cars between Feb. 6 and Feb. 11.

A Bay Shore man has been charged with ransacking multiple vehicles in the area and stealing items from them.
According to police, 37-year-old Henry Sanders broke into at least five cars between Feb. 6 and Feb. 11.
The break-ins took place on Sunset Road, Oakland Avenue, First Avenue, Sunny Lane and Aberdeen Road.
Police say Sanders was seen on security camera footage submitted by residents, including from Ring doorbell cameras.
Sanders was charged with five counts of petit larceny for stealing assorted items. He will be arraigned at a later date.
