Bay Shore deli owner accused of ordering hit
The owner of a Bay Shore deli is accused of trying to hire a hit man to kill his ex?s boyfriend.
The Suffolk County District Attorney?s Office says 32-year-old Rahinder Wadhwa was arrested after meeting with an undercover cop posing as a hit man. Prosecutors say Wadhwa eventually offered to pay him $2,500 for the hit.
Wadhwa?s brother Rick calls Rahinder?s actions temporary insanity and says his brother is a good man.
The case goes to a grand jury early next week. Wadhwa is in jail on $500,000 bond.
