The Babylon Industrial Development Agency is offering a helping hand to minority and women entrepreneurs who were affected by the pandemic.
The program, called the Economic Inclusion plan, has a goal of filling vacant storefronts in downtown communities.
The IDA will be offering business advice, rental assistance and will help find proper locations for business for those who reside or operate their business within the Town of Babylon.
Andrew Ayodegi has to sell his clothing line out of the trunk of his car, but says the program is helping him get a storefront by November.
William Certain says he plans to open his nonprofit, Spin The Yard, for families in Wyandanch.
