Authorities say a man from Philadelphia was killed in an industrial accident in a Vineland processing facility.

According to police, emergency responders were called Saturday after 12:30 a.m. to the Safeway Freezer Storage plant.

Lt. Brian Armstrong says Felipe Rodriguez-Tzon, 28, was pronounced dead at the scene in a refrigerated area of the facility.

Lt. Michael Feaster says the worker had already been removed from machinery by the time emergency crews arrived.

A message seeking comment was left for a representative of the company, which packages fresh and frozen food for stores.
