The parents of Blue Point native Gabby Petito are continuing their demand that Brian Laundrie's mother turn over a letter she wrote to her son.
The letter was found with Laundrie's body at a Florida preserve in 2021 after he took his own life.
In it, Roberta Laundrie allegedly references to bringing a shovel to help bury a body and baking a cake with a shiv in it should her son go to prison, according to the Petito family attorney.
The Laundries are attempting to stop the letter from being turned over in a civil lawsuit filed by the Petito's, who are accusing them of inflicting emotional distress.
The parents of Brian Laundrie say the letter was written before Petito went missing and is not relevant.
