Many Long Islanders may have a hard time getting where they are going this Thanksgiving thanks to the nasty weather.
As many as 2.4 million Americans are expected to fly for the holiday.
If you are heading to the airport, check the airline's website, download the airline's app, and give yourself some extra time and arrive early.
AAA officials say 90 percent of New York residents will be driving to their destinations this Thanksgiving.
With overnight temperatures expected to drop below freezing tonight, AAA is urging all drivers to remain vigilant on wet or frozen roadways.
