A fire tore through a restaurant in Merrick Wednesday night.

Fire officials say it happened at Fuji Seoul on Merrick Avenue just before midnight.

Eleven fire departments responded to the scene and were able to get the fire under control.

Fire officials say the fire started in the kitchen. They say several other businesses were affected by the fire.

One firefighter was transported to Nassau University Medical Center for a minor injury and is in stable condition.
