WHAT'S NEW: Air quality alert is in effect through midnight Friday, but the air quality index is overall much lower than it was yesterday. Expect hazy skies with an improvement for the weekend.
WHAT'S NEXT: Chance for a few showers and an isolated thunderstorm Friday afternoon with nice weather arriving for the weekend.
