According to AAA, between now and Labor Day is the deadliest time of year for teen drivers.
AAA blames distracted driving for 58 percent of crashes involving young people.
Over half of teen drivers admit to reading emails or texting while driving. Many admit they speed on local streets.
One in six teen drivers test positive for alcohol in fatal crashes.
AAA says every year an average of nearly 700 people die in crashes involving teens.
