A 91-year-old man died in a home invasion in Bedford-Stuyvesant Wednesday afternoon.
Police received a call around 3:30 from a 99-year-old woman reporting the incident at 160 Decatur St. She told police that people had invaded her home and tied up both her and her 91-year-old husband. She was able to untie herself and call for help, but her husband was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Police say the woman's injuries were minor. She was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.
The couple has not yet been identified.
News 12 spoke with a neighbor who describes the victims as a sweet and lovely couple.
Police say they are seeking multiple suspects but did not specify how many. Investigators say there is no sign of forced entry into the home at this time.
