8 Nassau officers honored for saving drowning child's life

Eight Nassau County police officers were honored Monday for saving a child's life.

Eight Nassau County police officers were honored Monday for saving a child's life.
Officers from the 8th Precinct received a call that a child was floating faced down in a pool on May 25.
They responded and performed life-saving CPR on the 3-year-old.
The child was taken to the hospital and has since made a full recovery.

County officials recognized them Monday as heroes.
