4 suspects sought in attempted robbery in Riverhead

Police are trying to track down four suspects who ambushed a man in Riverhead early Sunday morning in an apparent robbery attempt.
Police say the 25-year-old victim was attacked and thrown to the ground near the intersection of Pulaski Street and Hamilton Avenue.
The victim says the suspects attempted to steal his necklace before they ran off.
The victim suffered a cut to his head and bruises in the attack.
