SYOSSET - Athletes with disabilities took part in the 3rd Annual Adaptive Games today at the Mercy First organization in Syosset.

Participants say they enjoyed the sports, such as golf and basketball, as well as the nice weather. They also took part in musical therapy and yoga.

Adult Day Health Care director Linda Schneider says the games help raise the self-esteem of the participants.
