Two Long Islanders are facing charges Thursday in connection with the deadly insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.
Federal prosecutors say they were able to bring charges against Gabriel Morgan Brown, of Bayville, and Zvonimir Joseph Jurlina, of Bethpage, thanks to the video the two men posted online.
A YouTube video shows a group of Capitol rioters destroying news equipment during the riots.
According to federal authorities, the person behind the camera is Brown, who was arrested last week for his alleged role in the chaotic scene. A photo allegedly shows him stomping on expensive camera gear.
Jurlina is seen wearing a red Trump hat and is accused of holding a microphone he stole as a souvenir.
Jurlina's mom says she hasn't heard from her son in about a year and had no idea he was in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 6.
Both men are facing numerous charges, including committing an act of violence on the grounds of the Capitol.
