Two men are accused of attacking a 64-year-old business owner and robbing him of more than $25,000 at gunpoint in Brooklyn, police say.
The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. on July 15 on Weldon Street near Euclid Avenue.
News 12 spoke with the victim, who asked to not be identified. He said he owns a business in the area and was carrying a bag of money to his truck when the men robbed him.
The East New York resident also said he has two or three broken bones in his hand as a result of the incident. He said after the suspects took his money, he got into his pickup truck and tried to chase after them to no avail.
Surveillance video shows one of the men charge the victim at his truck before another man ambushes and puts a gun to his head.
Police say the men stole jewelry and the large sum of money from the man before running away.
The victim is offering a $3,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
